Area Sales Engineer Location: The Midlands & Birmingham Salary – Up to £50,000 + car + bonus Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be recruiting for a leading manufacturer of industrial lubricants and cutting fluids. They are leaders in the field and an extremely well established business. They are on the hunt for a Sales Engineer to drive new business opportunities across The Midlands and Birmingham. Key Roles & Responsibilities: Promoting a range of market leading cutting and forming lubricants, backed up by a world class on-site service package, your knowledge of factory/manufacturing environments will allow you to uncover and satisfy the needs of customers. Responsible for all metalworking revenue growth activity in the territory Maintaining and developing existing accounts and customer base Identify, qualify and convert opportunities for direct sales and also new speciality distributor partners aligned to metalworking. Pipeline management – ensure the opportunities are prioritised and managed so the speed of conversions, ensures the required results are realised. Co-ordinate with the Metalworking lead to identify and exploit opportunities to grow new and existing business across the focus segments. Skills & Requirements: Experience in working within manufacturing or engineering disciplines would be advantageous but not essential Significant experience operating as valued based field sales professional with ability to position benefits and identify and leverage cross-selling opportunities. Ideally in a technical / differentiated product environment. Good experience of developing relationships and driving sales growth through various channels Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills at all levels internally and externally. Effectively builds rapport, understands customer decision making process and able to identify customer needs. Naturally strong interpersonal skills, forming and maintaining positive relationships with ability to work collaboratively at all levels. Experience of identifying updates in the industry or applications and the impact on value proposition Ability to travel and holds a valid driving license.
