Are you an experienced Sales Administrator looking to take the next step in your career? Our Leeds-based engineering client is expanding and seeking a proactive, commercially minded Sales Administrator to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong technical administration experience who enjoys solving problems, supporting customers, and working closely with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage customer enquiries, orders, and communications from start to finish
  • Produce and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) accurately
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings to support quotations and order processing
  • Work closely with sales, engineering, planning, and production teams
  • Prepare detailed quotations and ensure all commercial information is accurate
  • Provide exceptional customer service to both new and existing clients
  • Support continuous improvement and contribute ideas to enhance processes
  • Handle general sales administration, documentation, and project coordination

About You

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a technical sales, sales admin, or customer service role
  • Experience within engineering, manufacturing, or a technical environment
  • Able to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Strong understanding of BOMs and commercial documentation
  • Excellent communication skills – confident dealing with customers and internal teams
  • Highly organised, detail-driven, and able to manage multiple tasks
