Elevation Recruitment Group's Engineering Services Division are recruiting a Service Technician for a busy specialist Automotive Service Centre based in Rotherham. The Service Technician will work as part of a team responsible for the Inspection, Service and Maintenance of a fleet of commercial vehicles, which includes buses and HGV (both diesel and electric) working a days based shift pattern.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SERVICE TECHNICIAN INCLUDE:
- All aspects of vehicle maintenance, inspection, fault diagnostics, and repairs at the service centre
- Fault finding and diagnostics using specialist software and visual inspection
- Utilise the latest available technical guides and documentation
- Completion of job cards
- Work collaboratively with the team, delivering excellent results and service
We would love to speak to Service Technicians with the following skills and experience:
- Full driving licence
- Minimum City & Guilds level 3 vehicle maintenance or equivalent
- Excellent electrical and computer based diagnostic skills
- Able to work on own initiative and unsupervised
- Able to follow verbal and written work instructions
- Experienced in a similar service role with commercial vehicles such as buses, coaches, or HGV's
