Elevation Recruitment Group is working with a specialist engineering business to recruit a Project Lead to support engineering documentation projects across the UK. This role focuses on the management and control of technical drawings and documentation, working closely with internal teams and clients to ensure projects are delivered accurately, compliantly and on time. It’s well suited to someone who enjoys autonomy and a mix of home-based and site work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing document control across multiple engineering projects
- Co-ordinating drawings and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
- Providing regular progress updates and reports to stakeholders
- Carrying out site-based documentation tasks, including audits and As-Built / As-Installed records
- Ensuring documentation is delivered to agreed standards and timescales
- Travelling across the UK as required
About You:
- Experience working with National Grid drawings
- Background in document control, either in a dedicated role or as part of a wider position
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or document management systems (desirable)
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence
