Elevation have the pleasure of working exclusively with a bespoke manufacturing company based in the Rotherham area. This leading manufacturing company is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their well-established team!
Salary: £45,000
Location: Rotherham
Hours: Monday to Friday either 7am till 3pm – 2 hours early finish on a Friday

Duties of an Electrical Maintenance Engineer:
- Attending to PPM’s and breakdowns on a daily basis
- Helping develop and implement current PPM system
- Ensure equipment is operating correctly to minimise machinery downtime
- Project work
- Ordering parts/ spares to ensure available as and when needed
- Electrical wiring, panel building, testing, inspection and fault finding
- Fault finding on PLC’s – Siemens, Allen Bradley
- Ensuring daily, weekly and annual servicing is complete
- Assist with machine installations as and when needed
- Working with other departments to a continuous improvement focus to ensure the business is the best it can be
Desired experience of Electrical Maintenance Engineer:
- You must have at least Level 3 or above in Electrical Engineering (City and Guilds – Apprentice trained)
- It would be advantageous for you to have HNC and HND qualifications but not essential
- Ideally have 3 years+ experience within an Electrical maintenance position outside of apprenticeship
- Must have worked within a manufacturing maintenance background previously
- Must have PLC fault finding experience
- Must have a good work ethic, someone who can work independently and within a team environment
