Elevation Recruitment Group are working in partnership with a leading UK engineering and manufacturing organisation to recruit a Group Responsible NDT Level 3. This is a pivotal, senior-level position offering technical authority across multiple UK sites, with responsibility for NDT certification, compliance, and continuous improvement.

As the Responsible NDT Level 3, you will act as the technical authority for NDT across the group, ensuring compliance, capability, and continuous improvement of inspection processes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading NDT qualification, certification, and training programmes
  • Providing technical oversight of NDT processes and personnel
  • Interpreting and implementing codes, standards, and customer specifications
  • Acting as the primary technical interface for customers on NDT matters
  • Supporting process improvement and introduction of new NDT technologies
  • Leading NADCAP audits (PT, MT, UT, VT) and internal audit programmes
  • Reviewing contracts and ensuring correct inspection sequencing and methods
  • Overseeing calibration, procedures, and compliance across sites
  • Auditing subcontract NDT suppliers

Essential:

  • EN4179/NAS410 Level 3 certification in UT (immersion experience preferred)
  • Level 3 certification in at least one of: PT, MT or VT
  • Minimum 4 years' experience as an NDT Level 2
  • Strong working knowledge of codes, standards, and specifications
