Elevation Recruitment Group are supporting an excellent opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join a growing business and play a key role in new product introduction, process improvement, CAPEX projects and manufacturing optimisation.

Responsibilities for the Senior Manufacturing Engineer:

  • Lead Design for Manufacture (DFM) reviews for new products
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and manufacturing industrialisation activities
  • Manage capital investment and equipment improvement projects from concept through to implementation
  • Conduct manufacturing risk assessments and PFMEA activities
  • Develop and improve manufacturing processes to enhance quality, efficiency and productivity
  • Analyse manufacturing data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Investigate production issues and lead root cause analysis activities
  • Create and maintain manufacturing documentation and standard operating procedures
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards
  • Provide technical guidance and support to engineering and production teams

To be a successful applicant, we are looking for:

  • Previous experience within a Manufacturing Engineering position
  • Experience working within an assembly or manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience of process validation, risk assessments and PFMEA
  • Proven experience delivering engineering or operational improvement projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • CAD experience, ideally Autodesk Inventor
  • Engineering qualification through degree or equivalent industry experience
