They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience across various domains and a passion for the product management role.
General overview:
You will take ownership of the full product lifecycle, from identifying market opportunities and launching products, to developing go-to-market strategies and analysing post-launch performance for our Industrial and Textile range. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Technical, R&D and Operations to build a product portfolio that meet the needs of our customers.

- The post holder is responsible for managing Industrial/ Manufacturing Product ranges
- Occasional travel – national and overseas
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive industrial and textile product strategy, aligned with business goals, market trends, and customer needs. Manage commercial, technical and regulatory aspects of the existing product range working with relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation. Maintain database of competitor ranges. Close relationships with supply chain and suppliers to keep abreast of product and industry trends and ideas.
- Support the development of customer personas and segmentation strategies to better understand market needs, buying behaviours, and customer priorities across the Industrial and Textile sectors.
- Drive actions to introduce new products to the market by developing new product ideas into proposals and tracking their progress. Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organisation, including R&D, Technical, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Marketing, and Sales, to ensure a successful launch.
- Manage the entire Industrial and Textile product lifecycle, including product planning, launch, optimisation, and discontinuation decisions. Monitor and report on sales performance of the range.
- Support product launches with go-to-market strategies. Develop product messaging, positioning, and value propositions.
- Collaborate with the Sales, Technical and Marketing teams to develop sector‑specific sales enablement tools, including product data sheets, technical documentations, competitor benchmarking documents, and customer‑facing presentations. Support training sessions to ensure the sales team is equipped to position and sell the product effectively.
- Work closely with the wider Marketing team to support and influence sector‑specific marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with product positioning, messaging, and commercial goals. Provide subject‑matter expertise to inform campaign strategy and content.
- Contribute to the development and review of digital content for web, email, social, and other channels to ensure product positioning and messaging are accurately and effectively communicated.
- Gather customer feedback and insights to continuously improve product offerings and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Define and track product‑related KPIs in collaboration with Marketing and Sales. Use insights from performance metrics to refine product strategy, messaging, and promotional activity.
Experience:
- Demonstratable product management experience, with responsibility for managing a product portfolio including internal new product introduction (NPD) process management
- Experience of managing B2B technical products
