Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting for a Continuous Improvement Lead to join a growing manufacturing business operating within a fast-paced production environment. This role is ideal for someone with a strong Lean manufacturing background who enjoys improving processes, driving efficiencies, and working closely with operational teams to deliver measurable improvements across the factory.
You’ll play a key role in helping the site improve performance across productivity, waste reduction, quality, downtime, and overall operational efficiency.
The Role - Continuous Improvement Lead
- Lead continuous improvement activities across manufacturing operations
- Drive Lean manufacturing and operational excellence initiatives
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce waste, and increase efficiency
- Support Kaizen events, root cause analysis, and problem-solving activities
- Monitor and improve KPIs including OEE, downtime, scrap, and process performance
- Work cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Supply Chain teams
- Support implementation and optimisation of new equipment and operational projects
- Coach and support teams in CI tools and best practices
- Develop reporting and performance tracking to support operational decision making
- Help build a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational discipline
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a Continuous Improvement, Lean, Operational Excellence, or Manufacturing Improvement role
- Background within manufacturing, FMCG, packaging, plastics, or a similar production environment
- Good understanding of Lean Manufacturing and CI methodologies
- Experience leading improvement projects and driving measurable results
- Confident using data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple departments
- Experience with Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar CI tools would be advantageous
- SAP knowledge beneficial but not essential
