Duties & Responsibilities of the Payroll Manager will include: Managing the full UK payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance Leading, developing, and motivating a small payroll team Collaborating with finance, employment tax, and HR teams for seamless operations Overseeing payroll-related projects, including process improvements and system upgrades Handling payroll queries, including those related to international payroll and overseas assignments Managing third-party relationships with payroll vendors and service providers Taking ownership of annual reporting requirements such as Gender Pay Gap and Directors’ Reporting Requirements (DRR) Key Skills & Experience required: CIPP qualification or equivalent experience Proven experience in a Payroll Manager or Payroll Leadership role Strong knowledge of UK payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance Experience managing international payrolls, including shadow payrolls Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and analytical abilities If you’re a payroll expert looking for a role where you can make an impact and lead a team in a supportive and innovative environment, we’d love to hear from you!
