Part Time Finance Manager
Wirral
Elevation Accountancy & Finance are working in partnership with a leading manufacturing firm based in the Wirral area who are looking to appoint a Part Time Finance Manager on a permanent basis.
The successful applicant will act as the business partner for the division, ensuring transactional and compliance processes, along with monthly accounts packs are completed to a high standard.
Key duties include:
- Oversee work of transactional team and Assistant Accountant to maintain data integrity
- Preparation (and further development) of the month-end management accounts pack and ledger management
- Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Management and analysis of the P&L including variance analysis with commentary
- Maintain Fixed Asset Register
- Daily bank reconciliations and cashflow management
- Proactively monitor and improve working capital
- Provide valuable insight to key senior stakeholders
- Finance point of contact for business units
- Prepare VAT returns & payments
- Prepare monthly payroll and pension submissions
- Reports and analysis as requested
- Development of key finance processes and control systems
Person specification:
- Qualified or qualified by experience
- Experience producing monthly management accounts
- Experience of balance sheet reconciliations
- Sound transactional experience
- Excellent communication and time management skills
