Part Time Finance Manager
Wirral

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are working in partnership with a leading manufacturing firm based in the Wirral area who are looking to appoint a Part Time Finance Manager on a permanent basis.

The successful applicant will act as the business partner for the division, ensuring transactional and compliance processes, along with monthly accounts packs are completed to a high standard.

Key duties include:

  • Oversee work of transactional team and Assistant Accountant to maintain data integrity
  • Preparation (and further development) of the month-end management accounts pack and ledger management
  • Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Management and analysis of the P&L including variance analysis with commentary
  • Maintain Fixed Asset Register
  • Daily bank reconciliations and cashflow management
  • Proactively monitor and improve working capital
  • Provide valuable insight to key senior stakeholders
  • Finance point of contact for business units
  • Prepare VAT returns & payments
  • Prepare monthly payroll and pension submissions
  • Reports and analysis as requested
  • Development of key finance processes and control systems

Person specification:

  • Qualified or qualified by experience
  • Experience producing monthly management accounts
  • Experience of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Sound transactional experience
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
