Elevation Recruitment Group’s Procurement & Supply Chain division are supporting a well-established UK business as they look to appoint an Import / Export Manager to lead and develop their import/export function. This is a key role with responsibility for compliance, team leadership, and the smooth movement of goods across international markets.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day operation of the Import / Export function, ensuring efficient and compliant processes
- Monitor changes in import/export regulations and ensure procedures remain fully compliant
- Oversee the processing of customer orders, enquiries, and quotations through the ERP system
- Maintain accurate commodity codes in liaison with suppliers
- Produce worldwide shipping documentation and manage import/export paperwork
- Finalise certificates of shipment and supporting export documentation
- Coordinate global shipments across multiple product lines
- Provide training and day-to-day support to import/export team members
- Liaise directly with key suppliers and distributors
- Support the development of new export sales opportunities
- Attend UK and overseas industry exhibitions as required
- Prepare monthly management reports for senior leadership
Key Requirements:
- Experience in an Import / Export management or senior operational role
- Working knowledge of Dangerous Goods regulations (desirable)
- High level of computer literacy, with strong Excel skills
- Experience using ERP and shipping documentation systems
- Confident communicator with good customer-facing experience
- Driving licence preferred
