Elevation HR are delighted to be supporting a large, complex and values-led organisation in the recruitment of an experienced Organisational Development Adviser to join their People team on a fixed-term basis. This is a pivotal role within the organisation, offering the opportunity to shape leadership capability, strengthen colleague engagement, and support the delivery of key people initiatives that will have a lasting impact across the workforce.

The organisation offers a highly flexible approach to working, including hybrid arrangements and a strong commitment to supporting wellbeing, development and a positive colleague experience.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Designing, delivering and evaluating organisation-wide OD and people initiatives aligned to strategic priorities
  • Developing and embedding leadership development frameworks that support growth at all levels
  • Leading on talent management and succession planning approaches to build future capability
  • Using people data, insight and colleague feedback to identify opportunities and inform decision-making
  • Partnering with HR colleagues and leaders to support workforce and development planning
  • Delivering engaging learning interventions, workshops and development activity across the organisation
  • Supporting initiatives that enhance engagement, inclusion, wellbeing and organisational culture
  • Contributing to early careers and talent pipeline development activity

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience designing and delivering leadership development programmes
  • Strong organisational development experience within a complex organisation
  • Experience implementing talent management and succession planning frameworks
  • Confidence using data, insight and engagement feedback to shape recommendations
  • Strong facilitation, stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
  • CIPD Qualification with significant experience in organisational development, highly desirable
  • Experience supporting organisational change, delivering large-scale learning events, psychometric tools or early careers programmes would be beneficial but not essential.
