Elevation Recruitment Group are currently supporting a leading manufacturer in their search for a Production Team Leader to take ownership of day-to-day operations on the manufacturing floor. You'll be the driving force behind shift performance, keeping your team safe, motivated, and hitting targets. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll bridge the gap between the Production Manager and the shop floor, making sure every shift runs smoothly and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities of the Production Team Leader include:
- Leading and supporting a team of operators across designated shifts to meet production targets and quality standards
- Monitoring performance, attendance, and KPIs, feeding key information back to the Production Manager
- Enforcing safety procedures and maintaining a clean, compliant working environment in line with 5S and H&S standards
- Training new starters and developing the skills of existing team members
- Investigating and reporting incidents, accidents, and non-conformities
- Communicating company goals and performance expectations clearly across the team
- Identifying and implementing cost-saving and continuous improvement opportunities
We’re keen to speak to Production Team Leaders with the below skills & experience:
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a high volume manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques and quality standards
- Familiarity with injection moulding would be beneficial
- Confident IT skills including Word, Excel, and SAP
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities
- Self-motivated, resilient, and committed to developing others
