Elevation Recruitment Group are supporting a manufacturing business in Lancashire to recruit a Head of Projects. This role will lead the delivery of major engineering and product development programmes, strengthen delivery processes and guide the full lifecycle of new and existing products. The Head of Projects will work closely with senior leadership and international teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and aligned to strategic objectives. It is a key role within a growing engineering organisation and will influence how projects are planned, managed and executed across the business.
The Role
- Lead multiple engineering and product development projects
- Manage project timelines, budgets, priorities and resource planning
- Drive New Product Development and New Product Introduction
- Ensure smooth transition of products and engineering changes into manufacturing and operational teams
The Person
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence across all levels
- Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proven experience delivering engineering or product development projects within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Strong background in NPD and NPI
- Commercially aware with experience managing budgets and performance
- Confident stakeholder manager with experience reporting to senior leadership
- Formal project or programme management qualification such as APM, PRINCE2 or PMP
