Role Overview
Elevation Recruitment Group is working with a growing product-based business to appoint a Financial Controller. This sole finance role encompasses management accounts, budgeting, project work, cost analysis and margin analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end finance function ownership, from management accounts to budgeting and forecasting.
- Develop and maintain management accounts and budgeting processes.
- Conduct cost and margin analysis to support commercial decision making.
- Manage financial reporting and projects related to manufacturing, including FX and currency risk management.
- Maintain relationships with overseas manufacturing partners and liaise with UK commercial and operational teams.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of FX and international finance.
- Experience with product and margin analysis in a manufacturing context.
- Mandarin language skills are an advantage.
- Self-starter, confident decision-maker, comfortable working as the sole finance professional.
- Desire to take full ownership of the finance function rather than operating within a larger team.
Location
Northampton, four days a week on site.
