Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be supporting a well-established manufacturing business with the recruitment of a Finance Manager on a 10-month fixed-term contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to join a fast-paced operational environment and take ownership of financial support across multiple sites.

Role Overview

Working closely with operational leadership teams, the successful candidate will lead financial reporting, forecasting and performance analysis activities, whilst driving cost control and supporting strategic decision-making across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce timely and accurate weekly and monthly management accounts, forecasts and reporting
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes across operational areas
  • Business partner senior operational stakeholders, providing financial insight and challenge
  • Monitor and control operational overhead spend, identifying opportunities for efficiencies and savings
  • Ownership of standard costing and product cost analysis
  • Support capex projects, including financial evaluation and post-investment review analysis
  • Inventory reporting and analysis across raw materials and finished goods
  • Lead and support a small finance team

Skills & Experience

  • Fully qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience within manufacturing, FMCG or operational finance environments
  • Strong commercial finance and business partnering capability
  • Excellent analytical and variance analysis skills
  • Advanced Excel skills; ERP systems and Power BI experience beneficial
  • Ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders
  • Team leadership experience
