Senior Sales Recruitment Consultant | Sales Division | Elevation Recruitment Group – Key Account Manager, Sheffield. Elevation Recruitment Group is proud to be supporting a leading name in the consumer goods and retail sector in the search for a driven Key Account Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced sales professional with a background in retail, DIY, hardware, or consumer durables to take ownership of a key customer portfolio and drive growth through strategic account development.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver tailored account plans to achieve sales and margin targets
- Support customer retail strategies with compelling product introductions and campaigns
- Build and maintain strong relationships across multiple levels of each key account
- Lead negotiations around pricing, rebates, marketing support and promotional activity
- Take full ownership of customer issues and ensure effective resolution
- Oversee retail display project requirements from concept to completion
- Identify and convert new business opportunities within the sector
- Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, marketing, and installation teams
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in key account management, ideally within retail, DIY, consumer goods, or hardware sectors
- Strong track record of business development and customer relationship management
- Commercially savvy with a good grasp of retail trends and consumer behaviour
- Self-motivated and highly organised – able to work autonomously and flexibly
- Excellent communicator with natural interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and internal departments
- Driving licence essential due to field-based nature of the role
- £35,000 – £40,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
- 15% Annual Bonus based on individual performance
- Car allowance or company car
- 26 days holiday + bank holidays
