About the Role: Elevation Recruitment Group is proud to be exclusively partnering with a leading manufacturer of pharmaceutical containment equipment in their search for a Multiskilled Fitter to join their growing team. Reporting directly to the Production Lead and working within the TAD team, you will play a key role in the electrical and mechanical assembly, testing, installation, and validation of high-specification containment equipment both at the company’s factory and on client sites. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer looking to develop their career in a clean, innovative, and regulated environment, with strong prospects for growth and training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and fit complex pharmaceutical containment equipment (electrically and mechanically)
  • Conduct pre-delivery testing, factory acceptance testing (FAT), and support site installations and validation
  • Take full ownership of documentation packs for pre-delivery and site installation
  • Perform fault-finding, inspection, quality checks, labelling, packing, and dispatch
  • Act as a team leader or team member on site installations, occasionally requiring travel
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and cGMP awareness at all times
  • Accurately report design changes or rework and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Promote teamwork and knowledge sharing across departments
  • Work to a production schedule and within quality assurance guidelines

Person Specification:

  • Proven experience working as part of a team in both factory and client site environments
  • C&G 236 Parts 1 & 2 Electrical Installation
  • C&G 17th Edition / 18th Edition
  • Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding abilities
  • Competent with IT systems and documentation
  • Excellent organisational skills and communication
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Flexible approach to work and travel as needed
  • Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or containment equipment
  • Knowledge of cGMP and ATEX regulations
  • HVAC or containment testing qualifications
  • Basic pneumatics, PLC programming, or instrumentation calibration
  • Ambitious with a desire to develop within a forward-thinking business
