Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a manufacturer in Bradford to recruit a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias).
Salary: £38,000 - rising to £40,000 after 6 month probation. DAYS ONLY + on call rota 1 week in 4.
Benefits: 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays, 1.5 x overtime.
Duties of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer include:
- Measure the performance of mechanical components, devices and machines
- Carry out preventative and reactive electrical maintenance across machinery
- Maintain and modify equipment to ensure that it is safe, reliable and efficient
- Monitor and commission plant, machinery and systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults quickly to minimise downtime
- Fault finding
- Undertake test procedures
- Provide technical advice
- Recommend modifications to the production machines
- Repair, service and maintain equipment
- Respond to emergency breakdowns promptly
We want to speak with Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineers with the following:
- NVQ Level 3 or above in Electrical Engineering
- Previous experience in manufacturing environments
- Proficient with PLCs
- Strong fault finding skills
Our client is looking for someone with experience working on large scale production machinery, who can work under pressure and has a high level of technical knowledge with the ability to apply this knowledge to practical problems.
