Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias)to join one of our Manufacturing clients in York.

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) – Manufacturing

York | £55,000 | Monday – Friday (40 hours)

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring smooth operation of production facility through maintenance tasks, fault finding and repairing but mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdowns across a wide range of production equipment.
• Provide general Maintenance support
• Responsible for repairs of all equipment when required.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and carry out fault diagnosis.
• Troubleshoot and fault finding
• Ensure compliance to all aspects of the company health and safety policy
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment
• Ensure that all statutory and regulatory checks are carried on schedules in place for all production equipment.

What We’re Looking For:

• NVQ/ONC Level 3 (or equivalent) in relevant engineering qualification
• Proven experience in a Maintenance Engineer role within manufacturing environments
• Strong background in PPMs and breakdown response
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical maintenance techniques.
