- Hours: 37 hours/week, Monday-Thursday: 07:45 - 16:15, Friday: 07:45 - 12:45

Role Overview
Reporting to the Facilities & Maintenance Manager, the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor will plan preventative maintenance, manage a team of 7 engineers, with 80% office-based and 20% on-site work.
Responsibilities
- Ensure team and contractors comply with HS&E rules
- Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programmes
- Plan maintenance schedules
- Achieve KPIs and team goals
- Conduct performance reviews
- Communicate effectively with internal customers
- Manage spare parts inventory
- Identify parts deficiencies and prevent recurrence
- Allocate tasks, run reports, monitor assets via asset management system
- Lead asset improvement and efficiency programs
- Promote continuous improvement culture
Candidate Requirements
- Apprenticeship in relevant engineering field
- NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- BTEC Level 3 National Diploma in Engineering
- Experience in heavy engineering environment
- Leadership and management skills
- Team building and objective setting
- Experience with maintenance planning systems
- Overhead crane operation (desirable)
