Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a leading specialist manufacturer based just outside of Matlock, in the search for a Quality Engineer to join their established and forward-thinking team.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead and support quality improvement initiatives across the site, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable corrective actions.
- Apply structured problem-solving tools such as 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone Analysis, and FMEA to eliminate recurring issues and improve processes.
- Support the introduction of new products and process changes through quality planning and validation activities.
- Conduct internal audits and assist with maintaining compliance to ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
- Collaborate closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve non-conformances and improve product quality.
- Analyse data and report on key quality metrics, driving a culture of continuous improvement.
I'm keen to speak to Quality Engineers with the following experience:
- Previous experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of quality tools and methodologies (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, FMEA, PPAP, etc.).
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage teams at all levels.
- A hands-on, solutions-focused approach with a passion for continuous improvement.
