Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be working exclusively with a rapidly growing SME business in Leeds who are looking to recruit a Materials Controller to join their team.
- Manage all suppliers on a daily basis, ensuring seamless operations.
- Create purchase orders for direct and indirect materials using purchase requisitions, MRP, or other stock replenishment methods.
- Expedite purchase orders to ensure timely arrival, meeting production and customer requirements.
- Control and maintain optimal stock levels, balancing availability for production needs while preventing overstocking.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure they meet agreed targets for price, quality, and delivery.
- Update and maintain supplier records, including pricing, lead times, MOQs, ordering methods, and contact details.
- Resolve supplier invoice discrepancies related to quantity and pricing.
- Contribute to daily production meetings with relevant updates and insights.
- Actively engage in lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in all company stock takes.
