As an Employee Relations Manager, your responsibilities shall include:
- Lead and develop a team of 5 Employee Relations Advisors, fostering a supportive, high-performance and collaborative environment
- Oversee and coordinate complex employee relations matters, including absence, investigations, grievances, disciplinaries and appeals
- Partner closely with People Business Partners to manage and resolve cases across designated business areas
- Provide trusted, commercially focused advice that aligns with employment legislation and organisational policy
- Review and maintain HR policies and procedures in partnership with the People Operations team to ensure legal compliance
- Equip Employee Relations Advisors with effective tools, resources and templates to ensure a consistent approach to case management
- Ensure the case management system is used effectively to support accurate reporting and performance insights
- Analyse case trends to inform proactive solutions and drive continuous improvement
This fully onsite role would also suit someone with previous experience managing a team and high-volume ER case management within a fast-paced, operational industry such as retail, manufacturing, FMCG, healthcare or similar industries and who is comfortable advising on employment law and processes.
