The role:
As Maintenance Manager, you will take responsibility for all site maintenance activity, leading a skilled engineering team and reducing downtime.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and overseeing maintenance to maximise equipment uptime
- Leading and developing electrical and mechanical engineers
- Managing maintenance schedules, records and spare parts
- Delivering engineering projects on time and within budget
- Working closely with SHE teams to promote safe working
- Setting priorities and monitoring work quality
The person:
To be successful as Maintenance Manager, you will need:
- A recognised electrical or mechanical qualification at Level 3
- Strong electrical and mechanical experience in a manufacturing or heavy industry environment
- Previous experience leading maintenance engineers
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings
- A full driving licence
