Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Manufacturing – 6 Month Fixed Term Contract
Location: York
Hours: Alternating Shift Pattern (Monday to Friday 6am-2pm and Monday to Thursday 2pm-12am)
Salary: circa £43,000
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance duties
- Respond to breakdowns
- Diagnose, repair and rebuild equipment
- Troubleshoot and fault‑find on a range of electrical and mechanical equipment
- Provide general maintenance support
- Follow health and safety procedures
- Carry out risk assessments
Qualifications
- NVQ/ONC Level 3 (or equivalent)
- Experience troubleshooting both electrical and mechanical reactive faults
- Experience working in production environments
