The Role:
As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be supporting a busy manufacturing site – keeping production moving and driving improvements.
Key responsibilities:
React quickly to breakdowns on filling, packaging, chilling & conveyor systems
Carry out PPMs & servicing via CMMS
Troubleshoot faults & conduct root cause analysis to cut downtime
Drive continuous improvement to boost production efficiency
Follow safe working practices & SOPs, support risk assessments
Get involved in engineering & site development projects
What we’re looking for:
NVQ Level 3 / ONC qualified (or equivalent)
Experience as M&E Technician, Multi-Skilled Engineer, Maintenance/Shift Engineer (ideally in FMCG, food or regulated manufacturing)
Strong fault-finding & RCA skills
Comfortable using CMMS (SAP PM or similar) & Microsoft Office
Flexible, proactive & happy working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern
Locations: Easily commutable from Leeds, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Bradford, York, Harrogate, Castleford, Barnsley & Doncaster.
