⚙️ The Role – Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Provide fast and effective breakdown support across filling, packaging, chilling, and conveyor systems.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) via CMMS systems.
  • Troubleshoot, problem-solve, and perform root cause analysis to reduce downtime.
  • Drive continuous improvement and efficiency projects.
  • Maintain safe working practices, SOPs, and participate in risk assessments.
  • Support engineering and site development projects.

👤 The Person – What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, M&E Technician, or Shift Engineer in FMCG, food, or regulated manufacturing.
  • Time-served/apprentice-trained engineer with NVQ Level 3/ONC or above.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills (including RCA methodology).
  • Comfortable working with CMMS systems (SAP PM or equivalent).
  • Proactive, flexible, and happy to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
