An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Project Manager to join a growing engineering and industrial services business delivering nationwide installation and improvement projects across the commercial and industrial sectors. This is a client-facing role focused on managing projects from initial quotation through to successful completion. Projects vary in scope and can include civils, mechanical, electrical, building, and building envelope works. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating multiple stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
The business provides a broad range of engineering, procurement, maintenance, and energy-saving solutions to customers across the UK.
Key Responsibilities- Manage projects from enquiry and quotation stage through to completion and handover
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Conduct site visits and surveys nationwide
- Coordinate civils, mechanical, electrical, and building-related installation works
- Prepare project costings, quotations, and scope of works
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and programme delivery
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, RAMS and industry regulations
- Liaise with internal engineering and operational teams to ensure smooth project execution
- Identify opportunities for additional works and business development
- Produce regular project updates and reports for clients and senior management
- Previous experience in a Project Manager, Contracts Manager, or Sales Project Manager role
- Strong understanding of construction and installation projects
- Commercial awareness with experience managing project costs and quotations
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel nationwide
- Experience within industrial, manufacturing, facilities, engineering, or energy sectors
- Knowledge of subcontractor management
- Experience delivering turnkey installation projects
