We’re working with a market-leading retail business behind large brands who are looking to appoint a Senior SEO Executive to join their growing digital team. The purpose of this role is to drive and assist the SEO Site Manager with the day-to-day management and optimisation of the SEO channel.
Working closely with the wider digital marketing team, you will be responsible for building and optimising our organic performance for a Frasers Group website.
The Role:
- Make and implement recommendations to improve SEO channel performance and rankings.
- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, internal linking and other factors to improve SEO rankings for target keywords.
- Work with the content writer to drive SEO in content creation to optimise copy on category pages and landing pages, as well as to produce FAQ pages and buying guides.
- Use tools such as Botify and ScreamingFrog to identify issues that can cause a negative impact in SERP.
- Perform in-depth technical SEO audits of websites as well as rectifying any issues.
- Use tools like PI-datametrics and SEMRush for insights and highlight opportunities to improve performance.
- Assist with link building strategies and perform backlink link audits.
- Hands-on experience in an SEO-focused role (in-house or agency).
- Experience with keyword research and strategy, daily optimisation, and in-depth analysis.
- Ability to confidently report on key performance metrics to managers.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and respond to high priority requests.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to self-manage and keep track of multiple projects.
- Genuine passion for SEO and online marketing.
- Experience with content marketing and social campaigns.
