Production Team Lead in London

Manufacturing Management Recruitment – Elevation Recruitment Group – Business ManagerElevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be exclusively supporting a rapidly growing chilled products supplier based in Deeside as they build out their Production Team Lead cohort. The company\’s products have exploded in popularity over the past few years and the company have big expansion plans on the horizon. As part of these plans, they are seeking Production Team Leads (4 on 4 off), to effectively manage the running of the production lines and motivate the team to meet the production schedule.

Duties of the Production Team Lead

Responsibility for the safe and efficient running of the production lines to meet the production schedule

When needed, manage and actively work on the automated packing lines

Ensure all hygiene and production records are kept up to date for audit purposes

Manage waste levels and keep to a minimum

Management of raw materials for the site to ensure warehouse efficiency, with weekly stock checks

Manage and control quality against customer requirements and product specs

Experience Desired for the role

Previous experience working in a food / FMCG / hygiene controlled manufacturing process

Mechanical / Machinery aptitude with a willingness to learn new processes

Examples of delivering performance in a demanding setting

Experience of automated packing lines preferred but not essential
