You will play a key role in delivering the ambition to build a high-performing, diverse, and future-ready workforce that truly reflects the communities this business serves.
What you will be doing:
- Own and evolve the resourcing strategy, ensuring hiring practices are engaging, inclusive, and aligned with the company's values and ambitions.
- Develop strong, diverse talent pipelines through relationships with schools, universities, communities, and key suppliers.
- Lead and inspire a high-performing Talent Acquisition team, setting clear direction and coaching for impact.
- Collaborate across the People function and wider business to understand strategic workforce plans and future capability needs.
- Champion data-driven hiring decisions, continually improving process efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with internal and external standards.
- Lead senior and executive level appointments and drive the evolution of the employer brand and external presence.
- Deliver an exceptional onboarding experience, setting new colleagues up for success from day one.
What we are looking for:
- A seasoned leader with deep experience in large-scale talent acquisition, spanning early careers, high-volume roles, specialists, and senior leadership hires.
- Strategic and hands-on — able to think long-term while also driving operational excellence.
- Proven success in managing direct sourcing models and external supplier relationships, while ensuring compliance with governance and regulatory requirements.
- Skilled in stakeholder management, workforce planning, branding, and inclusive hiring practices.
- A natural communicator and influencer, with the ability to coach others and shift hiring behaviours at all levels.
