Senior Commercial Finance Accountant Leeds LS1 (Hybrid working available)£60,000 – £65,000 The Opportunity We are supporting a high-performing, professional services organisation in the recruitment of a Senior Commercial Finance Accountant to join a central Commercial Finance function supporting international regions. This is a high-impact, commercially focused role where you will partner closely with senior stakeholders, influence decision-making, and play a key role in driving financial performance across complex business units. The role offers excellent exposure, autonomy, and the chance to contribute directly to strategic growth initiatives. The Role As Senior Commercial Finance Accountant, you will act as a trusted finance business partner, providing insight, challenge and support to senior leaders. Your responsibilities will include: Acting as a key commercial finance contact for assigned regions and business groups Providing strategic and operational financial insight to senior stakeholders Analysing monthly financial performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities Monitoring and improving key financial metrics such as revenue, profitability, utilisation, WIP and debtor days Driving improvements in working capital and financial discipline Leading and contributing to projects including client profitability analysis, pricing, tenders, and process improvement Supporting annual budgeting, forecasting and longer-term financial planning Reviewing business cases and investment proposals Collaborating closely with wider finance teams and other support functions to deliver a joined-up service Supporting change initiatives and embedding best practice across reporting and financial processes About You We are looking for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys operating in a fast-paced, stakeholder-heavy environment. You will ideally bring: Full accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) Proven experience in a finance business partnering or commercial finance role Strong analytical capability with the confidence to present and explain financial data to senior stakeholders Commercial acumen with the ability to challenge constructively and influence decision-making Professional services experience is advantageous but not essential Why Apply?
