Elevation Recruitment is delighted to be working with a Top 10 Accountancy Practice client to recruit an Audit Senior. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced audit professional to lead audit engagements, supervise junior team members, and work with a diverse client portfolio. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality audits in line with UK accounting and auditing standards, building strong client relationships, and contributing to continuous improvements in audit quality and efficiency.
Key responsibilities:
- Leading audits from planning through to completion
- Reviewing financial statements and assessing internal controls
- Managing budgets, deadlines, and client expectations
- Coaching and supporting junior staff
- Identifying opportunities to add value to clients
About you:
- Studying towards or qualified ACA/ACCA/CA (or qualified by experience)
- Experience within an accountancy practice environment
- Strong technical knowledge of UK audit and accounting standards
- Confident communicator with a proactive, client-focused approach
