Elevation Recruitment are currently partnering with a well-established business in the Leeds area that is looking to recruit a Payroll Assistant on a permanent basis, either part time 30 hours or full time 35 hours. Reporting directly into the Group Financial Controller, you will take responsibility for processing end to end weekly & monthly payroll for employees, processing starters/leavers monthly payroll journals and being the point of contact for all payroll queries. As well as managing accounts up to trial balance, bank reconciliations, journals and accruals.

Location: Leeds (Hybrid 2 WFH/ 3 Office)

Salary: Up to £36,000 DOE

Hours: Full or Part Time (30 - 35 hours)

Key responsibilities include:

  • End-to-end weekly and monthly payroll processing for employees
  • Accruals, Prepayments and bank reconciliations
  • Managing accounts up to trial balance
  • Managing starters and leavers
  • Processing payroll journals
  • Acting as the main point of contact for payroll queries
