We’re seeking an enthusiastic Finance Assistant to join a well-established organisation based in Leeds City Centre. The Role

  • Processing purchase and sales ledger invoices
  • Preparing and reconciling bank transactions
  • Assisting with weekly and monthly payment runs
  • Handling supplier queries and reconciling statements
  • Supporting month-end processes, including accruals and prepayments
  • Maintaining petty cash and credit card records
  • Assisting with management accounts and reporting as required
  • General finance administration and ad hoc tasks

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a finance or accounts role (minimum 2 years)
  • AAT qualification (Level 2 or above) or equivalent experience
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • A proactive approach and a willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
