You will lead projects that span new product development, custom engineered solutions, supply chain optimisation and product lifecycle improvements. Project / Product Engineer Role Outline
As a Project / Product Engineer, you will take ownership of engineering projects from initial concept through to delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, sales, supply chain and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless execution while acting as a key technical interface for both internal stakeholders and customers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and coordinating engineering projects from concept through to product launch
- Defining project scope, timelines, budgets and resource requirements
- Managing project progress, deliverables and engineering tasks within structured project systems
- Driving projects through a structured development / phase-gate process
- Acting as the technical link between customers, sales teams and engineering
- Supporting global sourcing initiatives for components and assemblies
- Maintaining and managing Bills of Materials and technical documentation
- Contributing to new product launch strategies and product roadmap development
- Identifying opportunities for product improvement, cost optimisation and portfolio development
- Working closely with international teams to deliver strategic engineering objectives
