Interim Financial Controller | Professional Services (12-month FTC)South Yorkshire | (Hybrid – 3 days per week on site)
Elevation Leadership and Executive are confidentially supporting a professional services business in Yorkshire with the appointment of an Interim Financial Controller on a 12-month FTC.This is a genuinely interesting interim leadership role, responsible for ensuring strong financial control, robust governance, accurate reporting and regulatory compliance during a period of transition within the finance team.
You will join a well-structured finance function, working closely with Financial Control, FP&A and a Finance Change team, with a remit spanning both delivery and improvement.
Key focus areas
Leadership of the Financial Control team
Ownership of balance sheet integrity (reconciliations/control) and timely month-end close
Oversight of financial reporting, including interim and year-end reporting
Regulatory returns and governance papers
Leading and coordinating the external audit process
Driving improvements across finance operations: efficiency, controls and process quality

Candidate profile
Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
Strong financial reporting and controls background
Experience within regulated / compliance-led environments is essential
