NEW HYBRID/REMOTE ROLE ALERT! INTERIM CATEGORY BUYER - CAPEX!!
Up to 12 months
£40,000 - £60,000 salary level (PAYE DAY RATE – this is not outside IR35). Salary is dependant on experience.
Hybrid: 2-3 days in Widness for first couple of months then the role becomes REMOTE with travel to other sites across North of England when required.
This is an excellent opportunity to join one of our key clients - a multi-national, £bn turnover manufacturing giant - in the middle of an exciting, business critical growth project.
This can be part time (3 - 4 days per week) or full time!
We’re looking for an Interim Category Buyer who is experienced in the strategic procurement of CAPEX machinery/equipment and maintenance service providers who has the following background:
- Strategic experience of end-to-end tendering for new CAPEX machinery suppliers and maintenance providers
- Experience of performing deep-dive spend and service analysis of current supplier networks
- Proven experience of negotiating suppliers onto new SLAs within tight timescales
- Experience in manufacturing is essential - FMCG or Chemical sector is highly desirable
- Managing supplier performance and resolving disputes
- Experience of leveraging spend, capability and optimising capital investment opportunities
- A strong knowledge of general goods and services T&C’s
