Elevation Recruitment Group is delighted to be supporting a leading, forward-thinking organisation in Hull as they look to appoint an ERP Implementation Planning Manager. This is a pivotal hire within the business and offers the opportunity to shape and lead a major transformation programme involving both SAP and Microsoft Dynamics 365 platforms.
The Role
As the ERP Implementation Planning Manager, you will take ownership of the planning, coordination and delivery roadmap for the business's multi-system ERP environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure SAP and Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation phases are clearly defined, well-structured and aligned with operational objectives. Your role will be critical in ensuring each workstream progresses smoothly, on time and within scope.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the master implementation plan covering SAP and Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Facilitate planning workshops and ensure project timelines and deliverables are clearly understood
- Coordinate internal teams and external partners to meet milestone objectives
- Identify risks, issues, dependencies and drive effective mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with functional leads to map business processes and validate system requirements
- Produce clear project status reports for senior leadership and key stakeholders
- Support change management activities to maximise user readiness and adoption
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience planning and managing ERP implementations (SAP and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365 highly advantageous)
- Strong understanding of project governance, planning tools and structured delivery methodologies
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
- Exceptional organisational capability and attention to detail across multiple workstreams
- Analytical, proactive and able to drive continuous improvement across project activities
