Elevation HR are delighted to be working with a successful Engineering Business based in Huddersfield as they look to appoint a HR Advisor on a full-time, permanent basis.

This brand-new role has been created off the back of impressive growth within a thriving manufacturing and engineering group. Reporting into the HR Business Partner, this role will join an established People team and be responsible for working with stakeholders across the business to coach and advise on HR related issues including:
- Managing a high volume of employee relations casework advising managers on employment law
- Handling complex and sensitive cases by providing clear, practical advice and making timely decisions
- Coaching and guiding managers on HR policies, processes and embedding best practice across the business
- Supporting apprentice performance reviews and development conversations and interviews
- Prioritising a varied workload in a fast-paced, operational environment
- Building strong relationships with union representatives and supporting effective union engagement
The right person for this HR Advisor role will have the following attributes:
- At least 2 years' experience in a HR Advisor role or above, preferably in an Engineering/FMCG/Manufacturing/Logistics/Distribution environment
- Ideally you will be CIPD qualified or working towards this
- Experienced in dealing with high-volume complex ER casework
