We’re looking for an experienced HR Manager to join a busy operational business in a broad, hands-on role with real visibility across the organisation. This role is about being close to the business, building strong relationships with managers, supporting employees day to day, and making sure HR processes, employee relations and people practices are running effectively across the site.

You’ll take ownership of the HR function, acting as a trusted point of contact for managers while supporting a wide range of HR activity across employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, compliance, reporting and people and payroll processes.

Key responsibilities:

  • Acting as the main HR contact for managers and employees across the site
  • Managing employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, absence management and welfare meetings
  • Supporting managers with practical, commercially focused HR advice
  • Drafting HR documentation including letters, outcomes and formal correspondence
  • Supporting recruitment activity, onboarding and induction processes
  • Ensuring HR systems, employee records and reporting are accurate and up to date
  • Coordinating probation reviews, appraisals and training administration
  • Producing HR reports and supporting people data analysis
