Reporting into the Group Operations Director, this role would be sitting in the group to spearhead and streamline their procurement functions dealing with international suppliers and other Nexus Brands across the globe, including US, UK & I, and Belgium. You will also be responsible for the development and management of an effective procurement team.
As Head of Group Purchasing, your responsibilities would include:
- Product and Range Rationalisation – identify opportunities to reduce SKUs and identify opportunities to sell through redundant stock.
- Build, manage, and maintain relationships across Nexus Brands Group, internal stakeholders, internal departments, and external suppliers.
- Oversee all essential procurement for the business and work closely with other departments overseas.
- Effectively produce statistical reports on KPIs and perform analysis on departments, reporting findings back to the rest of the board at meetings.
- Undertake evaluations and make recommendations on commercial sourcing opportunities. This includes – Price Change/Analysis, Supply Risk, Supply Shortage, and more.
