Elevation HR is excited to be working with a growing healthcare company based in Harrogate as they look to appoint a HR Manager on a full-time, permanent basis. As HR Manager, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day HR function across the organisation, leading a small People team and partnering closely with senior leaders. You’ll provide expert support across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring best practice, compliance, and a positive employee experience throughout.
The position will involve a mix of operational and strategic HR responsibilities, including:
- Employee relations
- Recruitment compliance
- Performance management
- Onboarding
As a HR Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Leading and supporting a small and self-sufficient HR team
- Providing guidance to managers and senior leadership on employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, and performance issues
- Overseeing recruitment and onboarding processes to attract and retain high-quality talent
- Ensuring employee records, contracts, policies, and HR documentation are accurate and up to date
- Monitoring HR metrics and workforce data to support business decisions and continuous improvement
- Supporting payroll processes and ensuring accuracy of employee information
- Managing HR compliance activity, audits, and liaising with external HR advisors where required
- Promoting employee wellbeing and supporting safeguarding best practices across the organisation
