Elevation Recruitment Group are currently supporting a global leading manufacturer in their search for a Production Shift Manager to join their facility in Lincoln.
You will take ownership of shift-level operations across the department, ensuring production schedules are met and your team is engaged, developed, and performing at their best. You will be hands-on in driving continuous improvement, championing quality, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities of the Production Shift Manager include:- Manage day-to-day operations on shift to meet production plans and customer delivery targets
- Lead and develop your team including training, performance & absence management
- Drive quality standards, scrap reduction, and rework elimination
- Champion safety compliance, H&S audits, and a culture of safe working practices
- Lead continuous improvement and problem-solving activities across the department
- Maintain clear communication across shifts and service departments
- Manage resources, overtime, and capacity to meet business requirements
- Ensure 6S standards are achieved and sustained
We’re looking for experienced Production Leaders with the following skills & experience:
- Previous leadership experience within manufacturing, ideally heavy industry
- Knowledge of modern manufacturing techniques, quality systems, and CI methodologies
- Strong leadership skills - able to motivate, coach, and develop a shift-based team
- Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
