Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a leading manufacturing business within the packaging sector to recruit a proactive and detail-oriented Quality professional to support Quality and Product Safety activities across multiple production areas. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in a manufacturing environment who enjoys driving continuous improvement, managing investigations, and working closely with operational teams to improve quality performance and reduce the cost of quality.

The Role

  • Reporting into the Quality Assurance leadership team, you will support quality systems, complaint management, auditing activities, and continuous improvement projects across the business.
  • You will work collaboratively with Production, Shift Managers, and other internal departments to improve quality standards, investigate issues, and ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Support Quality and Product Safety functions across multiple manufacturing areas.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing complaints and improving overall quality performance.
  • Investigate customer complaints, non-conformances, and suspect product issues.
  • Analyse, trend, and present quality performance metrics.
  • Support internal auditing programmes and participate in third-party audits.
  • Manage supplier claims and related investigations.
  • Conduct compliance audits including knife control, glass and brittle plastics inspections.
  • Support the Quality Manager and deputise where required.

About You

  • We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Quality professional with previous Quality experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Good IT skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience within the flexible plastics packaging industry would be advantageous.
