Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a leading manufacturing business within the packaging sector to recruit a proactive and detail-oriented Quality professional to support Quality and Product Safety activities across multiple production areas. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in a manufacturing environment who enjoys driving continuous improvement, managing investigations, and working closely with operational teams to improve quality performance and reduce the cost of quality.
The Role
- Reporting into the Quality Assurance leadership team, you will support quality systems, complaint management, auditing activities, and continuous improvement projects across the business.
- You will work collaboratively with Production, Shift Managers, and other internal departments to improve quality standards, investigate issues, and ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Support Quality and Product Safety functions across multiple manufacturing areas.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing complaints and improving overall quality performance.
- Investigate customer complaints, non-conformances, and suspect product issues.
- Analyse, trend, and present quality performance metrics.
- Support internal auditing programmes and participate in third-party audits.
- Manage supplier claims and related investigations.
- Conduct compliance audits including knife control, glass and brittle plastics inspections.
- Support the Quality Manager and deputise where required.
About You
- We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Quality professional with previous Quality experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Good IT skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience within the flexible plastics packaging industry would be advantageous.
