Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be recruiting for a well-established, successful organisation based in Scunthorpe as they look to bring in a new Financial Accountant for its finance team. The role has come about due to an internal move but it provides an excellent opportunity for a first time mover or someone with relevant experience from industry to come into this business and make the role their own.
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Financial Accountant will be responsible for producing statutory accounts, delivering accurate financial reporting, strengthening financial controls, and supporting strategic decision-making across the business.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing financial reports
- Supporting statutory accounts preparation and year-end audit processes
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
- Balance sheet reconciliations and oversight of key ledgers
- Providing financial insight to operational stakeholders
- Supporting ongoing process improvements within the finance function
The successful candidate will be a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment. The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experiences:
