Elevation Senior Finance are recruiting a dynamic Finance Business Partner to deliver high-quality financial insight and support to senior leaders, enabling continuous improvement, strategic decision-making, and excellent value for public funds.

As Finance Business Partner, you will support a wide variety of capital projects, o working closely with budget holders and project leads to enable effective financial planning, performance monitoring, and delivery of strategic objectives.
You will build strong relationships with stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and "critical friend" to help shape plans, challenge assumptions, and provide clear financial analysis that drives business improvements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide comprehensive financial advice and guidance to budget holders, ensuring the effective use of resources and promoting best value
Lead on financial planning, forecasting, and the development of business cases to support decision-making
Deliver timely, accurate management accounts, costings, and financial models
Support the development and implementation of financial policies and practices in line with statutory and regulatory requirements
Assist in the preparation of annual accounts and statutory reports, ensuring robust documentation and compliance
Contribute to the delivery of the Medium-Term Financial Strategy and the annual budgeting process
Monitor and report on capital and revenue projects, ensuring consistent accounting and transparency
Offer financial expertise on commercial and strategic projects, supporting risk management and innovation
Continuously scan the internal and external environment to stay informed of regulatory changes and emerging best practices
Support team development and cross-functional collaboration to improve efficiency and outcomes
KEY SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS:
Fully qualified Accountant or qualified by experience
Strong stakeholder engagement skills
Strong analytical, modelling, and presentation skills
Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-finance professionals
