Elevation Recruitment Group's Engineering Services Division are supporting a specialist industrial machinery manufacturing company to recruit Field Service Engineers as they expand their busy Aftermarket Service Division.
The Field Service Engineer will predominantly cover a region from Derby to Reading areas, with some work more nationally to support the needs of the Service Division to ensure the seamless servicing and repair of specialist industrial machinery post installation.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Visiting customer sites to perform service and repair work, and to ensure the work is completed to the customer’s satisfaction.
- Provide detailed and accurate reports on the condition of the customers' equipment, following onsite machine examination.
- Compliance testing of installed machinery to determine the efficiency of the equipment and recommend future actions and upgrades.
Skills and Experience:
- Field Service experience with industrial machinery/special purpose machinery/machinery manufacturing.
- Flexibility to work either as an individual or as part of a team in a regional patch, offering national support to customers.
- Excellent communication skills with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- Multi-skilled mechanical engineers with experience in electrical fault finding / NVQ level 3 or 18th edition preferred.
- Apprentice Trained Engineer.
